THE DESIGN
Accessibility has been a massive subject of conversation throughout many of my classes. I designed this prototype with the end user in mind. By using high contrast colours and consistency in icons I created a seamless prototype that aligned with the brands authentic theme.
THE CONTEXT
La Cantina is an authentic Mexican restaurant in Little Italy that was struggling with portraying its values through their website. With a thorough redesign I attempted to reinstill an authentic feel while keeping accessibility a priority. The target audience is students due to multiple schools being in the area, meaning a majority of users will most likely be using the app to order. This meant ease of access was an absolute priority in the design.
